Charming Stay with Excellent Dining Options
Enjoyed three nights in a quaint room with beautifully crafted décor. The attached restaurant surprised me with its delightful desserts. The banana cheesecake was a standout! Keep in mind the parking situation. arrive early for a space in the front, or consider the back lot.

The suite with a garden view offered fine vistas, contributing to a relaxing atmosphere during my stay. The layout was spacious with tasteful decor that enhanced the comfort of the room.
Dinner was quite the sticker shock, with prices that didn't justify the quality served, especially considering we were celebrating a family milestone. A fixed menu left little room for variety, and the lack of specials meant mealtime felt repetitive. Breakfast lacked certain favorites like hash browns, which left my daughter wanting more. Between the limited vegetarian options and a firm refusal for flexibility on meal choices, I ended up enjoying a picnic outside for my second dinner, which was a letdown for a hotel stay. It felt like some room for improvement could be had.

Couple's cozy getaway
I loved the warm welcome from the staff who were quick to take my dinner order, trust me the lamb dish was out of this world you could barely finish talking and the food was there. it was like they were reading my thoughts. And the bar was fantastic, stocked with local ales that really made it feel like home.
It wasn't exactly cheap but it was reasonable for the area.

The outdoor garden setting provides a charming ambiance, perfect for breakfast or a drink in the evening sun. There’s a variety of local ales and ciders on tap, adding a nice touch for anyone looking to indulge in the local flavors.
The extractor for the kitchen generates quite a bit of noise, though it turns off after 10 PM, which is bearable for most. My room felt a bit cold due to a draft coming through the windows, and the limited parking around the hotel has been noticeably reduced with the landscaping changes. Menu options can feel a bit overpriced, considering the quality of certain dishes.

The food impresses with the freshest fish, and the cozy atmosphere invites relaxation and enjoyment. The Superior Double Room provided a comfortable base, and the staff were consistently welcoming, enhancing the experience. I encountered noise disturbances from the street, which occasionally disrupted my rest. the menu could benefit from more traditional options, as some dishes may not suit every palate. Regardless, the overall dining experience remains a highlight.

The room was spacious and characterful, perfectly situated to see the street below, enhancing the overall experience. Breakfast was excellent, featuring a range of fresh fruits and a filling cooked option, setting a lovely tone for the day. A friendly and welcoming staff added to the pleasant atmosphere, making it a truly enjoyable stay. I noticed that the staff was a bit thin on the ground during busy times, which could hinder service quality.

Y Talbot serves up some culinary gems! The burger I had was the best I've ever tasted, putting many high-end spots to shame. The breakfast porridge was like a warm hug, and the owners really go the extra mile to make sure guests feel at home. Plus, the charming atmosphere of the bar area makes it perfect to unwind after a day of exploring.
On the flip side, the evening meal we had didn’t quite live up to the day's standards. We were hoping for something special for our large group celebration, but it felt a tad overpriced for what we received. Even so, the overall experience was still bright and inviting.

Charming stay with wonderful meals
I had a delightful stay as a solo traveler in a Standard Single Room, where the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The breakfast was exceptional, with freshly cooked options and generous portions, setting a great tone for the day. The staff were attentive and genuinely cared about guests’ comfort, making me feel right at home. My only suggestion would be to enhance the variety in the dinner menu to match the breakfast excellence.

We had a fantastic stay with a group of friends! The location is perfect for fishing in the River Teifi and cycling through the scenic areas. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was excellent, and our room had everything we needed. The bathroom was spacious and the shower fantastic. We'll definitely return!
The only downside was that we had to leave too soon. one night just wasn't enough to fully enjoy the hotel.
